Affiliate Terms
These terms apply to people who join the CanoClip affiliate program, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You are an independent promoter, not our employee, agent or partner.
1. How you earn
- You earn 30% of what a customer you referred pays us (the amount actually received, after discounts and not counting taxes), on each payment for the first 12 months after that customer's first payment.
- A customer counts as yours if they create a new account after clicking your link, within 60 days of that click. If they click several affiliate links, the last one counts.
- You earn nothing on free sign-ups, on your own purchases, or on accounts that existed before the click.
2. Payment
- Each commission is held for 30 days to cover refunds and chargebacks, and then becomes payable.
- We pay once a month, in US dollars, by PayPal to the email in your account, when you have at least $20 payable. Smaller amounts roll over to the next month.
- If a payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is cancelled. If it was already paid to you, we deduct it from your next payout.
- You are responsible for your own taxes. We may ask for tax forms (for example a W-9 or W-8BEN) before paying, and may withhold where the law requires it.
3. Rules
- Say clearly that you are paid for referrals wherever you share your link, as the law and platform rules require.
- Do not refer yourself, use fake or duplicate accounts, or pay or trick people into signing up.
- Do not use the CanoClip name, logo or your link in paid advertising (including bidding on our brand name) without our written permission.
- Do not spam, post in places that forbid promotion, or make false or misleading claims about CanoClip, its prices, or what it can do.
- Do not promote CanoClip for copying material you do not have rights to, or on illegal or hateful websites.
4. Ending and changes
We may suspend or close your affiliate account, and cancel unpaid commissions, if you break these terms or we suspect fraud. You can stop at any time by closing your account (we settle what you are owed first). We may change the rate, rules or these terms for future referrals; we will tell you in advance, and changes do not reduce commissions already earned.
